Overview PR & Events Account Executive / Junior Account Manager Cheshire West and Chester Area Hybrid - Full-time A small, vibrant and niche Cheshire PR and Events company is looking for an enthusiastic and detail orientated PR & Events Account Executive/Junior Account Manager to join the team. The company works across an impressive portfolio of US and European brands. Responsibilities The role will involve working closely with the team to research, plan and deliver PR / marketing communications campaigns with a particular focus on healthcare, pharmaceutical and life science sectors. The role will also include on-site support at exhibition and events, supported by the rest of the team with occasional out of hours and overnight stays both in the UK and abroad. The role requires someone who is eager to learn and not afraid to tackle new subjects head on. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and ambitious and is looking to carve out a fantastic career in communications within a company whose culture is down to earth and friendly.This role can be moulded to suit the candidates experience to progress your role in PR & Events.Excellent written and verbal skills are essential along with the ability to co-ordinate multiple projects, good organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and accuracy essential. These skills will be used to communicate with editors and clients and creating email content pitches, topic abstracts and smaller content pieces. Qualifications Candidate skill/experience requirements include: * Excellent written communication skills with a flair for creating insightful and interesting content * The ability to take on new information, research around topics and confidently brief copywriters in order to set clients apart in a fast-paced industry * Ability to use digital software and social media to monitor topics and relevant conversations * Proactive, ambitious, confident and passionate * Relationship building and liaison skills/networking with colleagues, clients and the media * A full, clean driving license is desirable Compensation & Benefits Salary package: £22-26K depending on experience plus 25 days holidays, plus bank holidays, pension package and early finish Fridays in the summer. The office is located just outside of Northwich, within 2 mins walking distance of Hartford train station, with easy access to Crewe, Chester, Liverpool and Manchester.
