Job Description

This role combines customer service, call center support, and operational processing responsibilities. You will interact with customers, attorneys, trustees, and other third parties to answer questions, process requests, and support bankruptcy-related servicing activities. The position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.

The team supports bankruptcy accounts across mortgage, consumer lending, vehicle, trailer, checking, and savings products and serves as an important quality control checkpoint to ensure work is completed accurately and timely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and service bankruptcy accounts throughout the life of a bankruptcy case.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from customers, attorneys, trustees, and other third parties regarding bankruptcy-related matters.
  • Process bankruptcy documentation, notices, and servicing activities in accordance with established procedures.
  • Review and manage proof of claims, final cure notices, attorney referrals, case closures, and related bankruptcy processes.
  • Perform operational and quality review activities to ensure accuracy and compliance standards are met.
  • Identify, document, and escalate quality issues and process concerns as appropriate.
  • Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to support effective bankruptcy servicing operations.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and servicing guidelines.
  • Meet productivity, timeliness, and quality performance expectations.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically two to four years of customer service, servicing, operations, call center, financial services, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Call center experience.
  • Customer service experience within banking or financial services.
  • Experience working with bankruptcy, collections, default servicing, loan servicing, or legal-related processes.
  • Experience handling sensitive customer situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Knowledge of banking products, consumer lending, or deposit account servicing

**The role offers a hybrid schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week at one of the posted hub locations.**
