The Project Manager is accountable for all aspects of project delivery through to final closure and ensures approval of deliverables. They contribute to resource management in order to achieve objectives within defined time and budget constraints.
<\/p>

The role involves organizing, directing, and controlling the human, material, financial, and technological resources required to deliver large\-scale, cross\-functional projects. The Project Manager is responsible for the project plan and acts as the central point of contact for all contributors involved in delivery (sponsor, managers, and team members), leveraging strong planning and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for developing a comprehensive project plan, taking into account issues, complexity, stakeholders, and alignment with other projects, while ensuring consistency with the sponsor's business objectives

  • In collaboration with various workstream leads, be responsible for deliverables to meet business objectives and value creation, while respecting agreements, costs, and timelines

      • Experience in the banking or financial sector (Desjardins or comparable institution)

      • Certification PMP, MGP, or ACP
