Seeking a PMI Certified Project Manager with experience in Banking or any financial entity. The ideal candidate will have experience with ACH processes and procedures
Work Environment
The Department of Treasury has an allocated team to solely work on the project which consist of BA, Dev, and SAs.
Importance of Communication Skills
Communitcaion is the key for the success of the project as they will be working with 700 state agencies.
Nice to Have Skills
State or local work experience.
• Will have good foundational project management skills and knowledge and a broad range of project management tools for use by project team.
o Ideally PMI certified and/or significant number of years with project management experience including experience in significant and successful project lifts.
• Will be very organized and keep the project team organized from a planning, monitoring, and deliverables perspective.
• Will make tools, templates, and "in-use" project documents easily accessible and understandable for project team (and stakeholders as appropriate) and communicate connections between formal project plans (Communications, Organizational Change Management, Testing, Training, etc.) and other WBS or activity-based documents.
• Will be able to communicate the purpose behind project management processes in a way that influences project team members to succeed (recognizing not all project team members have a mature project management background).
• Will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with project team members at all levels, as well as stakeholders (including, potentially, legislative or other overseers), including ability to adapt to various audience groups.
• Will be open and direct with project team members, including sponsors, while maintaining professionalism.
• Will have, or show aptitude to quickly gain, working knowledge of banking industry terminology and concepts.
