Salary: $130,000–$170,000 DOE

This executive leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional with a proven track record of organizational leadership, strategic planning, financial stewardship, and team development. Working closely with the Board of Directors, you'll provide leadership across all aspects of the organization while helping guide its continued growth and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Board of Directors to establish strategic priorities and support the organization's long-term vision
  • Provide executive leadership for daily operations, organizational planning, financial management, and operational effectiveness
  • Recruit, mentor, develop, and lead staff while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and positive workplace culture
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, partner organizations, elected officials, stakeholders, and other key constituents
  • Represent the organization professionally while strengthening partnerships and supporting its mission
  • Oversee budgeting, financial stewardship, fundraising initiatives, and long-term organizational sustainability
  • Support Board and committee activities while promoting effective governance, communication, and organizational planning
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and executive experience
  • Senior executive leadership experience in corporate, nonprofit, political, community, or related organizations
  • Valid driver's license and ability to live and work in the greater Fairbanks area
  • Proven experience leading, developing, and managing staff, including human resources leadership and employee development
  • Demonstrated success building partnerships with community leaders, organizations, elected officials, stakeholders, and diverse groups
  • Experience developing strategic initiatives, managing organizational operations, and achieving long-term organizational goals
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, fundraising, and organizational development experience
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Board governance experience preferred
  • Strong business judgment, integrity, political awareness, and consensus-building abilities
  • Availability for early morning, evening, and occasional overnight travel as needed
