Job Description

The Operations Manager II oversees operations of several functions or processes within assigned team/unit.


Depth & Scope

  • Leads, develops, coaches, and motivates an assigned team

  • Ensures the consistent adherence to and delivery of Human Resources/Company policies, practices and principals

  • Ensures performance and strategic plans are executed properly

  • Develops and maintains an operating budget, ensures adherence to budget, and takes corrective action as necessary

  • Directs efforts to research and identify sources of issues and resolutions

  • Evaluates staffing ratios and issues effecting attrition/retention

  • Delegates tasks and authority to enhance performance of assigned units

  • Analyzes operational performance

  • Leads and applies the performance management process, supports Employees in their personal and performance development

  • Acts as a back-up to Senior Management


Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below 7+ Years of related experience

  • Prior leadership experience or progressively responsible Department/Bank experience

  • Proven leadership, delegation, coaching and mentoring skills

  • Demonstrated project management skills

  • In-depth knowledge of principles, policy and practices related to assigned department

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully balance competing priorities and make sound decisions within and outside of established policy

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify problems and trends and develop and implement solid business solutions

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with ability to successfully influence others at all levels

  • Demonstrated department technology skills with strong PC Skills

  • Must be available to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department
