Job description

Job Summary:ย  Responsible for completing administrative and clerical functions for the operations/back-office department of the bank.

Education/Experience:ย  A minimum of the following education/experience is required:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 1 yearsโ€™ experience in a clerical field

Job Specific Responsibilities:

  • Reconciles cash items to ensure accurate account balance.
  • Processes and corrects cash letters to maintain transaction accuracy.
  • Reviews and releases stop payment requests in accordance with bank policies.
  • Processes Written Statements of Unauthorized Debits (WSUDs) and ACH returns.
  • Reviews and applies Regulation CC hold to ensure compliance with funds availability requirements.
  • Prepares and documents large item notes for review and exception handling.
  • Processes and researches returned mail, updating customer records as needed.
  • Provides back up to other Deposit Operations Specialists.
  • Maintains detailed records on all work responsibilities.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of the Bankโ€™s customers.
  • Remains current on and adheres to all regulatory requirements and training.
  • Adheres to all deposit related policies and procedures, including periodic updates and maintenance of individual procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
