To thrive as a Bank Networking Specialist, you need a solid background in computer networking, network security, and troubleshooting, usually supported by a degree in IT or computer science and relevant experience. Familiarity with core banking systems, firewalls, routers, switches, and industry certifications like CCNA or CompTIA Network+ is highly valuable. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills set top performers apart in this field.
