Job description

Under the direction of the SVP, Retail Sales the Regional Manager II provides leadership and oversight for a large retail branch network across multiple markets or higher-complexity regions. The Regional Manager II partners with Member Experience Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution of retail strategies and alignment with organizational goals. This position typically oversees 7 or more branches, supports multiple or high-complexity markets, and manages a regional portfolio of $1B+ in total deposits.
Key Responsibilities
  • Regional Leadership and Performance: Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to Member Experience Managers establish clear expectations and accountability; promote relationship-based service culture; conduct regular branch visits; monitor performance trends and develop action plans.
  • Sales Growth and Business Development Partnership: Support regional deposit, loan, membership, and relationship growth; partner with Business Development Team Lead; ensure branch teams identify and refer business opportunities; reinforce branch ownership of member relationships; promote sales routines and engagement strategies.
  • Community Engagement and Financial Literacy: Serve as a visible leader in the region; participate in community events and financial literacy initiatives; ensure branch engagement in local communities; strengthen Credit Union's reputation and impact.
  • Operations, Risk, and Compliance Partnership: Partner with Operations Manager to ensure operational execution; enforce policies, procedures, and compliance; identify risks and collaborate on corrective action; promote efficiency and accountability.
