Retail Banker (Float Position)
(Daphne, Fairhope, Gulf Shores)
We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Retail Banker (Float) to join our team. This position serves as the front line of the Bank, providing exceptional service to both retail and commercial customers while assisting with deposits, withdrawals, and a variety of banking transactions.
As a Float Retail Banker, you will provide coverage and support to multiple branch locations within a 50-mile radius. Flexibility and reliable transportation are required, as travel between assigned branches is an essential part of this role.
Our ideal candidate is professional, dependable, committed to accuracy, and dedicated to building strong customer relationships through outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and other banking services.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality while adhering to all security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
  • Maintain a secure, organized, and professional workstation.
  • Follow all cash handling procedures, audit requirements, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify customer needs and refer customers to appropriate business partners for additional products, services, or issue resolution.
  • Assist customers with online banking support, including password resets and account access issues.
  • Complete daily item processing using back-counter scanning equipment.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the Bank's products and services.
  • Support branch operations as needed and perform other duties assigned by the Retail Bank Manager or Bank Officer.
  • Travel to and provide coverage for branch locations within a 50-mile radius as business needs require. (Daphne, Fairhope, Gulf Shores)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.

Physical Requirements
