Position Summary:

Process work-flow in the loan department including; processing, updating, filing and all maintenance of any incoming documentation pertaining to all bank loans. Provide customer assistance; to both customers and FFBT staff.


Duties

  • Process loan maintenance, including rate changes, payment adjustments, payoffs, deferrals, and modifications
  • Accurately board all loan types on core system
  • Maintain accurate loan records and ensure all updates are properly reflected in the core system
  • Monitor and manage escrow accounts, including tax and insurance tracking and escrow analysis
  • Process loan payoffs and ensure accurate final balances and disbursements
  • Review and resolve discrepancies, exceptions, and customer account issues
  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all loan transactions
  • Support internal audits and regulatory reviews by providing requested information
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports to identify and resolve exceptions
  • Process and track insurance (including CPI, Credit Life, and Disability where applicable)
  • Balancing of internal accounts
  • Assist with participation loans and related transactions, including funding and payments
  • Communicate with internal departments and customers regarding loan servicing requests
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
  • All other job duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of two years of banking or customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in banking, mortgage, bookkeeping, or insurance industries
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Work Environment

  • Primarily office or branch-based environment with standard business hours. Occasional travel to other branch locations or community events may be required
  • Daily extended use of banking software, secure digital platforms, and standard office equipment
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds as needed
  • Moderate business traveling
