Role Overview

We are building our next phase of global expansion in the Pan-Am region (based in the US) and the EMEA region (based in Dubai or the Netherlands).

We are not looking for a traditional BD, operator, or compliance profile.

We are looking for a Chief Revenue Officer โ€” someone who can take a market from zero to one, and turn existing infrastructure into a real, functioning business.

You will define how the market should work, what needs to be built, and drive execution across teams to make it live.

This role owns market outcomes, not individual functions.

What You Will Do
  • Build the Market (0 โ†’ 1)
  • Define market entry strategy and execution roadmap
  • Identify the right use cases and fastest path to first transactions
  • Design how local fiat and payment flows should work (from a business perspective)
  • Define and Drive Market Requirements
  • Clearly define what capabilities are required to make the market work (payments, fiat flows, partners, product setups)
  • Set priorities based on business impact, not internal constraints
  • Work closely with FI teams to enable the right partnerships and infrastructure
  • Leverage existing FI and compliance capabilities to create real business use cases
  • Bridge the gap between โ€œwhat is availableโ€ and โ€œwhat generates volumeโ€
  • Ensure the market evolves from license-ready to business-active
  • Drive Execution Across Functions
  • Lead execution end-to-end from requirement โ†’ solution โ†’ launch
  • Push cross-functional teams (FI, product, compliance, operations) to deliver against market priorities
  • Make decisions under ambiguity and unblock progress
  • Build Early Traction
  • Drive initial user activity, transactions, and liquidity
  • Validate product-market fit through real usage
  • Establish a foundation for scalable growth
What We Are Looking For Core Experience
  • 7โ€“12 years in fintech, payments, or financial services
  • Proven experience in building or launching a market (0โ†’1 or 1โ†’10)
  • Experience working with:
  • Payment systemsBanking infrastructure
  • Financial partners (directly or via internal teams)
  • Builder mindset โ€” has created something from scratch
  • Ownership โ€” defines priorities and drives outcomes
  • Execution strength โ€” can move from idea to live product
  • Understanding of money flow โ€” knows how payments, settlement, and accounts work
  • Ability to work in a matrix setup โ€” can effectively leverage centralized FI and compliance teams
You Are Likely Someone Who
  • Has worked at companies like Stripe, Adyen, Checkout, Wise, Airwallex, PayPal, Revolut (or similar)
  • Has experience launching or expanding markets across regions
  • Is comfortable operating without a clear playbook
  • Can translate business needs into executable solutions
What This Role Is NOT
  • Not a pure BD or partnership role
  • Not a compliance or licensing role
  • Not a coordination or project management role
What Success Looks Like
  • Market requirements are clearly defined and prioritised
  • FI and product capabilities are effectively activated in the market
  • First transactions and real usage are live
  • Market transitions from infrastructure-driven to business-driven
  • Clear path to scale is established
Why This Role Matters

In many organisations, infrastructure (licenses, banking, payments) becomes the goal.

Here, it is only the starting point.

Your role is to turn infrastructure into a real business, and define how the market will grow from there.
