About the Role
DentalQore is looking for a detail-oriented Controller to oversee day-to-day finance operations, reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, vendor management, and financial projections.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing both detailed accounting tasks and higher-level financial reporting for leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage recurring payments, vendor payments, reimbursements, rent, credit card payments, and bank transfers.
  • Maintain monthly financial deadlines.
  • Oversee company budgets, department budgets, expense requests, and project-specific budgets.
  • Reconcile AMEX activity weekly and bank activity monthly.
  • Track receipts, invoices, expense documentation, and missing follow-ups.
  • Manage vendor records, contracts, renewals, monthly vendor audits, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial projection updates for leadership.
  • Compare projected vs. actual revenue, payroll, expenses, cash flow, and net income.
  • Coordinate with external accountants, tax providers, banks, insurance contacts, and vendors.
  • Support tax preparation, financial statement reviews, entity renewals, insurance renewals, and compliance documentation.
  • Manage company cardholder setup, limits, training, agreements, and monthly card audits.
  • Review and process internal finance forms, including expense, vendor, travel, and overtime requests.
  • Keep accounting files, vendor records, bank documents, insurance policies, and projection archives organized and audit-ready.
  • Improve finance systems, spreadsheets, documentation, and internal controls.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or controller-level experience.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and cash flow.
  • Advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills.
  • Experience with vendor payments, credit card reconciliation, and month-end reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet recurring deadlines.
  • Ability to explain financial changes clearly to leadership.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, banking systems, or subscription/service-based businesses is a plus.
