Overview
The Threat Intelligence function sits within CSO Governance, Business Services, Threat and Strategy, with a mandate to identify threats that could impact Deutsche Bank's people, assets, operations, and interests. As a Threat Intelligence Regional Lead, you will play a critical role in protecting the organization from cyber threats within your assigned region. You will own regional operational activities while working closely with the global Threat Intelligence team to ensure alignment and effectiveness. The role involves leading efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate threats, providing actionable mitigation recommendations, and developing bank-specific solutions to complex technical challenges. In addition, you will deliver against projects and strategic initiatives to continuously strengthen the Bank's threat response capabilities.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and supervise all regional Threat Intelligence operations, including people, processes, projects, and workflows, providing guidance and feedback to enhance effectiveness
  • Analyze multiple intelligence and data sources to identify threat patterns, track threat actors, TTPs, and campaigns, and produce timely, actionable intelligence
  • Direct regional monitoring, tracking, and management of emerging threats, delivering clear mitigation recommendations and supporting threat response activities
  • Produce strategic and tactical threat assessments to inform operational teams and support ongoing threat mitigation efforts
  • Coordinate closely with internal operational teams on threat operations, incidents, and intelligence-led responses, including regulatory engagements where required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external intelligence-sharing communities while driving continuous improvements to regional and global processes

How You'll Lead
  • Strong people leadership with cybersecurity experience in a formal managerial role across Threat Intelligence or related functions
  • Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams, driving accountability, collaboration, and effective change management in a global, matrixed environment
  • Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, regulators, and cross-functional partners, clearly articulating threat intelligence outcomes, risks, and business impacts

Skills You'll Need
  • Demonstrated expertise in Threat Intelligence, including the intelligence lifecycle, intelligence requirements management, and use of frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
  • Proven experience deploying, optimizing, and operationalizing Threat Intelligence platforms and analyzing technical data across multiple security tools
  • Strong operational understanding of computing and networking fundamentals (e.g., OSI model, TCP/IP) and core security technologies such as IPS/IDS, firewalls, and endpoint detection and response (EDR)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, networking, or a related cyber, intelligence, or analytical discipline

Skills That Will Help You Excel
  • Deep interest and knowledge in tracking cyber threat actors, campaigns, and TTPs, aligned to industry standards and financial-services threat landscapes.
  • Familiarity with virtualized and cloud environments, including vSphere, hypervisors, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC (e.g., GCTI, GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, GREM, GNFA), Security+, or CEH
  • Self-motivated, highly resilient, and delivery-focused, with a strong sense of ownership and a continuous-improvement mindset consistent with Deutsche Bank's risk and control culture

Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $100,000 to $157,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
