Job description

Position: Compliance Technology Project Manager

Contract: September 14, 2026 โ€“ September 13, 2027

Location: Onsite โ€“ Boston, MA / Quincy, MA / Burlington, MA

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Location Requirement: Candidates must be able to work onsite at one of the client locations in Boston, Quincy, or Burlington, Massachusetts.


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Technology Project Manager to support Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) and AML Screening technology initiatives. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with Program Managers, application teams, business partners, technology teams, vendors, and the PMO to drive projects from planning through execution and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing technology projects within financial services/compliance environments, with hands-on expertise in Jira, Clarity PPM, Agile/Kanban methodologies, resource and financial management, vendor management, procurement, risk management, and SDLC governance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Program Managers and application teams to successfully roll out assigned technology projects.
  • Maintain the Screening Demand Backlog, including demand prioritization, scheduling, project linkages, and alignment with the FCC AML Screening Roadmap.
  • Build, monitor, and maintain project work items using Jira Agile/Kanban boards.
  • Serve as Kanban Scrum Master when required by the Agile Office.
  • Manage resource allocations, forecasts, onboarding/offboarding, and actuals across assigned projects.
  • Maintain resource and timekeeping tasks in Clarity PPM, including identifying deferrable and non-deferrable activities.
  • Manage SOP98 Deferrable workflows in Clarity, including SOW updates, cost changes, monthly resource tracking, and fixed-price contract targets.
  • Review resource time actuals and resolve discrepancies within Clarity.
  • Support project status reporting, risk and issue tracking, and project governance activities.
  • Manage SDLC tollgate processes, ensuring all required governance activities are completed and closed appropriately using Jira and Microsoft Teams.
  • Manage Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities for vendor engagements, including Inherent Risk Questionnaires (IRQ).
  • Ensure Information Security Risk Management Process (ISRMP) requirements are maintained for assigned applications.
  • Ensure appropriate Data Stewards are assigned and that Data Governance and Data Privacy requirements are completed whenever data is involved.
  • Work with business stakeholders to prioritize deliverables and align technology initiatives with business requirements.
  • Manage Time & Material (T&M) and Fixed Price (FP) vendors through Beeline, including contracts, resource onboarding, timesheet approvals, milestone payments, and vendor administration.
  • Leverage Microsoft Copilot, prompt engineering, and Generative AI tools to improve project planning, reporting, execution, analysis, and decision-making.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in IT/Technology Project Management.
  • Experience working in Financial Services, Banking, Compliance, Risk, or Financial Crimes environments.
  • Experience with AML / Anti-Money Laundering / Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) initiatives is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Agile/Kanban project delivery.
  • Experience with Clarity PPM / Broadcom Clarity.
  • Strong experience with project planning, scheduling, estimation, dependency management, and status reporting.
  • Experience managing IT budgets, resources, forecasts, and project financials.
  • Experience with vendor management, SOWs, procurement, contracts, and change orders.
  • Experience with TPRM, information security risk, SDLC governance, and compliance processes.
  • Experience managing both T&M and Fixed Price vendors.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
