Treasury Specialist

Location: Midway, GA (Onsite; limited hybrid)

Reports to: Finance Leader

Position Summary

The Treasury Specialist supports cash management and treasury operations to ensure timely and accurate execution of payments and effective liquidity management. This role is responsible for preparing and initiating payments through online banking systems, maintaining banking relationships, and supporting corporate card administration. The position also collaborates with finance and affiliated entities to ensure efficient intercompany cash operations and compliance with internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute payments including ACH, wire transfers, and check disbursements
  • Initiate transactions through online banking platforms and ensure proper approvals and controls
  • Monitor daily cash balances and support short-term cash planning
  • Maintain and manage relationships with banking partners and resolve banking issues
  • Administer corporate card programs, including issuance, monitoring, and reconciliation
  • Coordinate intercompany fund transfers and support treasury activities across affiliated entities
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, payment authorization policies, and audit requirements
  • Support month-end close activities related to cash and treasury accounts
  • Maintain accurate treasury records and documentation for audits and internal reviews
  • Support the preparation and posting of bank, cash and treasury-related journal entries


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 2–5 years of treasury, cash management, or related finance experience
  • Experience with ACH, wire transfers, and check processing required
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred
  • Familiarity with online banking systems and ERP systems required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions accurately
  • Effective communication and coordination skills across functions and entities
