Addison Group is partnering with our client, a community-focused financial institution, to hire an Assistant Banking Branch Manager. This position is ideal for an experienced banking or sales professional looking to expand their leadership experience while helping drive branch performance, customer satisfaction, and business growth. The Assistant Banking Branch Manager will work closely with branch leadership to support operations, develop team members, and strengthen customer relationships.

Job Description:

The Assistant Banking Branch Manager supports the overall success of the branch by assisting with daily operations, employee development, customer engagement, and sales initiatives. This role serves as a key leader within the branch, helping ensure operational excellence while promoting a positive customer experience and fostering business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with branch leadership to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth workflow throughout the banking center.

• Provide guidance, coaching, and ongoing support to branch employees to encourage professional growth and performance improvement.

• Assist customers with account openings, banking transactions, loan-related documentation, and product recommendations.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to expand banking relationships and services.

• Support branch sales initiatives by generating referrals, cultivating community connections, and developing business partnerships.

• Address customer questions, concerns, and service issues with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.

• Assist with employee scheduling, transaction approvals, performance evaluations, and daily operational oversight.

• Help ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal controls, audit standards, and company policies.

• Promote completion of required compliance training and ongoing professional development programs.

• Monitor adherence to branch security procedures, including opening and closing protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in a performance-based environment with measurable goals.

• Prior banking, financial services, or retail financial sales experience strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales, referral, and customer service objectives.

• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team development experience preferred.

• Strong decision-making, coaching, conflict-resolution, and employee engagement skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Current Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

• Ability to work occasional weekends or extended hours as business needs require.

Additional Details:

• Knowledge of retail banking products and services is highly desirable.

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
