The role also involves careful record-keeping and providing enrichment activities to promote natural behaviors. Teamwork is essential, as caretakers frequently coordinate with other staff to manage breeding programs and public demonstrations.

Description
Who we are: Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest 100% physician-owned and managed practices in the country. Our team includes 190 radiologists, 40 advanced practice providers, and more than 200 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. We are committed to remaining independent and providing the highest level of care to our patients. We value diversity on our team and promote a culture of inclusion.
What we do: ARS provides services to 10 health care systems and more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan. We are the exclusive radiology provider to Corewell Health's Betty Ford Breast Care Services. American College of Radiology has designated Betty Ford as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence . We are accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. Only the top five percent of US breast centers have this NAPBC accreditation which means we can deliver the best care in diagnosing and treating breast cancer. We perform more than 95,000 breast imaging studies and diagnostic services annually.
What we are looking for: We are seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our team of 10 fellowship trained experts in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We can offer full or part time partnership track positions. There are seven fellowship trained breast surgeons at the Betty Ford Breast Imaging Center which provides state of the art technology such as 3D mammography, CEM, Cryoablation, MRI, multi-modality biopsies, and more. We offer a weekday only, 100% breast on site option with 10 weeks off or our standard track option which offers 13 weeks' vacation and requires 11 weekends.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide services at Betty Ford Breast Care Services in Grand Rapids primarily with periodic rotations in affiliated regional sites
โ€ข Interpret digital mammography, contrast-enhanced mammography, breast MRI, tomosynthesis and breast ultrasound
โ€ข Perform stereotactic, ultrasound-guided and MRI-guided biopsies and breast localizations
โ€ข Participate in tumor boards and collaborate with breast surgeons and medical oncologists to treat breast cancer patients
โ€ข OB ultrasound and general diagnostic studies also available based on candidate interest/skillset
โ€ข Remote mammo work station available for work from home
โ€ข All radiologists receive an additional stipend for on-site shifts
Why is our practice unique? We strive to offer the best of both worlds- private practice flexibility and compensation with academic options. In affiliation with Michigan State University College of Medicine, our radiologists have opportunities to teach and mentor residents and pursue research if desired. Due to the size and breadth of the healthcare systems we support, diagnostic volume and variety of clinical exposure is unrivaled. We find that entrepreneurial minded physicians who value involvement in decision making and developing our business strategy fit well. Participation in section, committee and board meetings is not required but welcomed from day one.
Compensation/Benefits: We are offering a 100K recruitment incentive (sign on bonus), competitive compensation package and opportunities for additional shifts on a month to month basis. Our physicians have no out of pocket expense for medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18,000 medical reimbursement account annually. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan ($70,000 in 2025). We offer 13 weeks of vacation for our standard track positions and a brand new 6-week paid parental leave benefit to coordinate with the 12 weeks of FMLA!
