General Description
Howard S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty Company is looking for a Warehouse Delivery Driver to support their Oregon operation. This role supports delivery and disbursement of tools and equipment to jobsites. Reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organize, coordinate and deliver requested materials, tools and equipment
- Prepares and submits transfer documents to Manager for processing
- Keep accurate and timely records of all repairs and maintenance
- Review company vehicles for body and paint damage
- Facilitate scheduling of company vehicles for servicing
- Maintain a high level of orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse facility
- Follow all safety requirements for Balfour Beatty Equipment
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service
- Use of computer and programs as the position requires, email at a minimum
- Construction experience preferred, but not required
Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred and on-the-job training required. This position requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years experience to do the essential functions and demonstrate proficiency with little supervision and little direction and is expected to make some decisions.
- Requires a valid OR state driver's license
- Must possess a CDL license and be able to pass annual physical medical exam required by the state.
- Works within the standards of accuracy designated by the project.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
- Can speak English.
- Preferred 10-hour OSHA trained.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Must be able to write with proper format, punctuation, spelling and grammar.
- Must be able to read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of truck, tools and equipment, and methods and procedures.
- Follows oral and written instructions, solve practical problems.
- Writes with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
