Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible work environment, as it is fully remote, thereby eliminating commute times and enabling you to work from the comfort of your own home. You will maintain a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, giving you a consistent routine and the opportunity to balance your personal life effectively. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will assume a pivotal role in the mental health service delivery at Brighten Every Life Therapy. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting individual and couples therapy sessions, drawing on various therapeutic modalities to best meet the needs of your clients.
  • Developing tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and clients' unique circumstances.
  • Regularly reassessing and modifying treatment strategies to reflect ongoing client progress, ensuring adaptability and responsiveness.
  • Facilitating group therapy sessions, fostering a community of support among participants, while providing a safe environment for sharing and growth.
  • Documenting client sessions and progress in compliance with clinic standards and regulations, maintaining confidentiality and ethical practice.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and specialists to ensure holistic care for clients when necessary.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will benefit a diverse patient population, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and various life transitions. You will work closely with clients ranging from young adults to seniors, guiding them through their unique therapeutic journeys. By utilizing a compassionate and understanding approach, you will help clients develop coping mechanisms and strategies that address their mental health challenges effectively.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • An active LMFT license issued by the state of California.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals, couples, and families in a therapeutic setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
  • Familiarity with different therapeutic modalities and techniques tailored to marriage and family therapy.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in direct therapy is required, candidates with specialized training or certification in Marriage and Family Therapy will be preferred.
