Position Overview

Transitional Life Skills Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our compassionate team. This full-time remote position allows you to provide essential mental health services while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that supports your well-being.

Work Environment

As a remote employee, you will conduct therapy sessions in a virtual setting, utilizing secure video conferencing tools that comply with HIPAA regulations.   • Conduct virtual therapy sessions, utilizing technology to provide ongoing support and guidance to clients facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
  • Facilitate engaging discussions to foster client insight into their emotions, thoughts, and behavioral patterns, thereby enhancing their understanding of their mental health.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish realistic therapeutic goals, strategically developing individualized treatment plans that target their unique needs and aspirations.
  • Utilize clinical expertise to implement evidence-based practices, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in response to client progress and feedback.
  • Document clinical notes and maintain thorough electronic health records to ensure accurate tracking of progress and compliance with regulatory standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families, each presenting a unique set of mental health needs. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their personal challenges, enhancing their emotional resilience, and improving their overall mental health and quality of life. Our approach is rooted in empathy, helping clients feel understood and supported.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
  • Current and active licensure in Georgia as one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience providing therapeutic services to clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients remotely.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation is highly preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual therapeutic interventions.
  • Familiarity with culturally competent and trauma-informed care practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
