Job description

Pay Range: $16.75- $20.30

SUMMARY
Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Ensures that all production/display guidelines are adhered to regarding bakery products to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Must operate within all sanitation guidelines and procedures set by the company and state.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times. Responsible for smiling, making eye contact and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request. Maintain a neat, clean and organized work station, according to 5S standards, at all times. Ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality, outstanding service and sanitary conditions. Maintain an adequate presentation with proper variety of cakes necessary to meet customer needs. Maintain, with Bakery Manager, the “Deco Pac” inventories at actual physical levels taken on a yearly basis, and then determined by the corporate office. Ensure that variety of standards (i.e.: Butter crème and colors of the season) are maintained daily. Responsible, along with the bakery manager, to maintain production and shrink as per company guidelines. Responsible for the operation of bakery equipment including but not limited to ovens, mixers and utensils. May be asked to be in charge of the baker in the absence of the manager and first clerk. Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer courtesy and service at all times. Responsible for making all customers special orders (i.e.: cake orders). Responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures. Ensure all associates adhere to corporate and state sanitation regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
