Job description

BAKERY SUPPORT:  Customer Service Clerk working in the Bakery Counter Sales Section and responsible for assisting in its day-to-day operation.  This person's primary duties include providing direct customer service on the phone or over-the-counter, case layout, merchandising, suggestive selling, incidental finishing, product rotation, housekeeping, and sanitation.  Secondary duties assume related activities as required.

  1. Availability: Must be available to be scheduled  20-30 hrs a week, with a focus on evening and weekend hours. However the ideal candidate would be available nights and weekends as well, based on department needs.
  2. Previous Work Experience: Familiarity with Bakery Merchandise Preferred But Not Required.
  3. Physical Demands: Lifting, Bending, Stooping, Pulling And Pushing With Repetitive Lifting To 50#; Occasional Lifting To 80#.

Other Work Considerations: Customer Relations; Able To Work With Minimal Supervision; Prioritize Tasks; Reliable and Dependable.
