Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly organized Bakery Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you will be the driving force behind high-quality bakery production, exceptional customer experiences, team leadership, and smooth backend operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

Lead, mentor, and schedule the bakery team (bakers, and pastry chefs).

Maintain high standards for product quality, consistency, presentation, and freshness.

Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.

Inventory & Cost Control

Manage inventory levels, order baking ingredients and packaging supplies, and reduce waste.

Monitor product costs, sales performance, and manage labor hours within budget.

Customer Service & Safety

Cultivate a welcoming, friendly, and clean environment for both guests and team members.

Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 2+ years of management experience in a bakery, café, or food service setting preferred. Experience in a high volume bakery is a plus.

Skills: Strong leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge: Hands-on experience with baking processes, inventory management, and food safety practices.

Certifications: Food Handler or ServSafe Manager certification preferred (or willing to obtain).

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 LBS.
