Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and reliable Bakery Employee to join our catering team. This individual will assist in the preparation, baking, and packaging of a variety of high-quality baked goods and pastries for catered events, corporate clients, and special orders. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and consistency.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Pastry & Baking Production:
    • Prepare, bake, and finish a wide range of items including cakes, cookies, tarts, croissants, breads, and specialty desserts.
    • Follow standard recipes and production schedules with precision.
    • Assist in creating custom desserts for catered events or special orders.
  • Catering Prep & Packaging:
    • Portion, label, and package pastries and baked goods for delivery and off-site catering.
    • Organize and load items for transport, ensuring presentation and freshness.
    • Collaborate with the catering team on order requirements and special requests.
  • Kitchen Operations:
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and kitchen prep areas.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
    • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; report shortages or issues to management.
  • Team Support:
    • Communicate effectively with chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house team members.
