The role often involves repetitive tasks and standing for long periods, but offers valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced team setting. Over time, demonstrating reliability and learning new baking techniques can lead to advancement opportunities such as becoming a lead baker or pastry chef.
A Baker Assistant helps bakers with daily tasks such as preparing ingredients, mixing dough, and monitoring baking times.
