Position Overview:
As the Assistant Bakery Manager, you will oversee daily bakery operations, product presentation, staff supervision, and customer satisfaction. You will play a critical role in maintaining department performance, food safety standards, and inspiring a positive, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, train, and manage bakery team members, ensuring high standards for service and performance
  • Oversee production schedules for breads, pastries, cakes, and specialty items
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality control guidelines
  • Monitor and manage inventory, ordering, and product rotation
  • Support and execute custom cake orders, seasonal promotions, and merchandising displays
  • Drive department sales and profitability through product knowledge and team engagement
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with store leadership and team members
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and scheduling of bakery staff
