About Us:
Totally Joined For Achieving Collaborative Techniques (TJFACT) is a minority owned, CVE verified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) performance driven professional services government contracting company that provides a broad spectrum of services and solutions to the U.S government agencies and organizations.
About the Position:
TJFACT is seeking a Diplomatic Pouch Logistician/Courier to support our DOS DT (Diplomatic Technology) IT team in Baghdad, Iraq.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Handles all aspects of DT's sensitive items inventory (as well as other DT business unit equipment inventories as assigned)
  • Responsible for the issuance and receiving of Mission classified and sensitive items, and equipment.
  • Perform Diplomatic Pouch Courier duties under this contract (supporting DT and Mission Iraq operations.).
  • As the Courier, the incumbent will monitor and track all packages and computers and systems (hardware and software) as identified by the DT-Chief and provide tracking updates on the equipment/materials.
  • Provide tracking updates on the equipment/materials.
  • Monitor, support, and participate in Mission-wide inventory control activities, including supporting inventory activities at all Mission work sites.
  • Analyze and coordinate Information Resource Management (DT) logistics in Iraq.
  • Support DT operations for the total life cycle of products and ancillary equipment. Phases supported will include:
    • acquisition
    • distribution
    • internal allocation
    • delivery
    • inventory
    • disposal of equipment.
  • The Logistician may be asked to travel periodically to off-site locations to receive Diplomatic Pouch shipments.
  • Perform inventory related actions
  • Assist in the disposal of DT hardware or end of life resources.
  • Act as the Classified Diplomatic Pouch Courier under this contract.
  • Prepares pouch for retrograde shipment back to Washington DC offices as required.
  • The Logistician will perform Courier duties under this contract. The courier work is 30% of the position's responsibilities.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • Handle and support Courier and packing loads safely.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years' work-related experience OR 13 years' work-related experience in lieu of education.
  • Experience with supply chain strategies, performance measurements for supply chain and product and process design for supply chain management, as it pertains to logistics and inventory.
  • Experience working in an austere environment.
  • Experience working with the Department of State with an understanding of rules and regulations pertaining to the handling of sensitive radio equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Logistics Management, secure procurement, and material tracking systems as implemented in Iraq.
  • Knowledge of materials, tools, and methods common to the trade.
  • Knowledge of Department of State inventory and security requirements.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and safety regulations.
  • High level Knowledge of Secure/ Integrated Logistics Management System (S/ILMS) applications and GSO receiving practices.
  • Active security clearance.

This is a physically demanding position that involves frequent heavy lifting and tasks such as handling dirty boxes, burlapping and building crates, and operating pallet jacks. Candidates must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. as needed to successfully and safely meet mission requirements.
