Job description

Beechmont Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Golf Bag Room Attendant. As a key member of the property's golf operations team, the Bag Room Attendant reports directly to the Golf Outside Operations Manager/Caddie Master and attends to the golf cart fleet, bag room and driving range.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the game of golf preferred
  • Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the people
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong customer/guest orientation
  • Must be able to work independently

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Performs opening procedure for the Bag Room & Cart barn
  • Remove golf bag from car and transport them to the bag racks
  • Retrieves golf carts from cart storage areas
  • Cleans golf clubs and carts daily
  • Sets up for daily member play, regular tee times, groups & outings
  • Checks in and out guest golf equipment, cleans guest/rental clubs
  • Keeps a fresh supply of clean towels available and keeps divot sand holders filled
  • Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Working Conditions:
  • While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands
  • The employee often is required to walk, stand, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects.
  • The employee will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally.
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • Noise level is moderately quiet
  • Work extended hours during golf season
  • Work weekends and holidays
