OVERVIEW: The Bag Room Attendant at Boca West Country Club is responsible for assisting members and guests with their clubs and equipment, maintaining an organized and efficient bag storage area, and providing friendly, professional service. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable golf experience by managing the club's bag storage operations, supporting club rentals, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bag room.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bag Storage & Organization
  • Assist members and guests with storing, retrieving, and organizing their golf bags and equipment.
  • Ensure all bags are properly labeled, stored securely, and returned promptly upon request.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the bag room area.

Member & Guest Service
  • Greet members and guests warmly, providing courteous assistance with their clubs and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to requests for club retrieval, storage, and club rentals.
  • Provide a welcoming and professional attitude to enhance the overall member experience.

Equipment Handling & Maintenance
  • Assist with club rentals, including setting up rental clubs and ensuring they are clean and in good condition.
  • Support the maintenance and cleanliness of club storage areas and rental clubs.
  • Report any damaged or missing equipment to management for follow-up.

Operational Support
  • Support the setup and breakdown of bag storage for tournaments, outings, and special events.
  • Help with inventory management of club rentals, supplies, and equipment.
  • Assist with other operational tasks as directed by the Bag Room Supervisor or golf management.

Safety & Security
  • Ensure the security of member belongings and club equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures for handling clubs and equipment.
  • Report any safety concerns or damages to management immediately.
