Job description


Position Summary:
The Production Worker operates and maintains production line equipment, helps prepare and package products, and ensures safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices are followed. This role supports smooth product flow through the production process and works as part of a team to complete assigned tasks.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Work on the production line following all procedures; may rotate positions every 2 hours.
  • Follow all safety rules, attend safety training, and report injuries or unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Follow GMP, ServSafe, HACCP, SQF, OSHA, and company standards.
  • Learn and support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and problem-solving practices.
  • Perform general labor tasks.
  • Stack products on pallets.
  • Operate inserters, box/bag makers, pallet stackers, and other machines as needed.
  • Start up and shut down production lines when required.
  • Set up and change metal detectors and box tapers.
  • Lift and stack 25-lb cases.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of related experience/training. Must be 18 or older.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to read instructions and labels.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to understand instructions and solve problems.
  • Electric pallet jack and HACCP certification preferred.
