Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Insurance Defense Attorney, your primary role is to represent our insurance company clients in litigations. You will be expected to:
1. Provide legal defense against claims and litigation, ensuring that our clients' interests are well protected.
2. Conduct thorough Coverage Analysis and offer sound Coverage Opinions to guide our clients' decisions.
3. Handle Reservation of Rights (ROR) matters with utmost precision and professionalism.
4. Engage in litigation processes, including Motion Practice and discovery, to gather necessary information for the cases at hand.
5. Collaborate with our insurance carriers to develop strategic defense plans.
6. Navigate through complex insurance defense matters, including Third Party Bad Faith and First Party Bad Faith.
7. Represent our clients in court, presenting strong defenses and advocating for their rights and interests.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Barred in Florida with a clean record.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field, specifically dealing with Insurance Defense.
4. Proven experience in handling Coverage Insurance, Third Party Coverage, Third Party Bad Faith, First Party Bad Faith, Insurance Bad Faith, and Bad Faith.
5. Solid understanding of Reservation of Rights (ROR), Coverage Opinion, and Coverage Analysis.
6. Proficiency in litigation and motion practice.
7. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively represent clients in court.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
10. High ethical standards and professionalism.
