Job description

Company Information: Monogram Foods Solutions is a leading manufacturer and marketer of value-added meat products, snacks and appetizers. Monogram specializes in strategic co-packing, private label and branded business, with both owned brands and licensed brands. Monogram's broad portfolio of products includes beef jerky, bacon jerky, turkey jerky, meat sticks, pickled sausages and pickled eggs, smoked sausage, hotdogs, pre-cooked bacon, bacon, corndogs, mini corndogs, pancake and sausage, potato skins, onion rings, breaded cheese strips, cheese curds, jalapeno poppers, breaded mushrooms, breaded vegetables, and other value-added foods.

Supervises others:
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Position Summary, Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Employees will operate a forklift daily to move and accurately record the movement of raw materials, and other items to and from the cooler and production lines. Employee must be able to use a scan gun and must be able to accurately record transactions. Employee must be available to support production lines when needed.
Job Requirements Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:
  • Work directly with the production line
  • Move raw materials and other items to and from the cooler to production lines.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork
  • Report shortages of needed raw materials to the appropriate supervisors
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area
  • Work with enthusiasm and sense of urgency daily
  • Wear appropriate PPE- frock, gloves, ear plugs, slip resistant boots, must be able to wash and sanitize hands to meet GMP Standards
  • Performs and adheres to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices
  • Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned by Management at any time with or without notice.

NOTE: This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED is highly preferred
  • 3+ years of Forklift Experience/usage of RF Scanner
  • Ability to work independently, and in a team environment, with a diverse workforce
  • Knowledge of basic math and computer skills
  • Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends when required
  • Punctual and good attendance.
  • Able to complete Quality, Safety training
  • Forklift trained and certified

Language Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus, but not required
