Scrum Master - Intermediate
Need only local to Houston, TX
Oil & Gas mandatory

Description:
Scrum Master for a Houston-based team supporting windows active directory, PKI certificate servers, and other elements of the Client tier 0 security environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Encourages team to make and meet execution commitments and removes impediments to the team.
  • Encourages the team to establish and adhere to quality standards.
  • Facilitates team ceremonies - Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Retrospectives to guide work execution & Continuous Improvement.
  • Implements effective backlog management; Keep the status of all work up to date in the backlog through backlog grooming in order to generate standard metrics to improve team performance.
  • Collaborates with the Staff Development Manager, Product Owner, System Architect and Delivery Team to establish and update Working Agreements on execution plans, priorities, capacity, definition of ready, definition of done.
  • Collaborates with Release Train Engineer in Scrum of Scrum and helps to facilitate PI planning.
  • Facilitates skills assessment activities (i.e. "Skills Bingo") to ensure team is prepared for work commitments.
  • Ensures Azure DevOps (ADO) Core Fields are completed.
  • Incident Management - keep track of aging tickets and help team resolve incidents timely
  • Coordinates team building activities.

Required Experience:
3-5 years' experience leading Agile teams
Proficiency with MS Azure DevOps Boards

Preferred Experience:
SAFe Scrum Master or Advanced Scrum Master Certification
Infrastructure support or Windows engineering background
