Job Description:

Interviews loan applicants. Describes the application process and provides recommendations. Completes loan applications over the phone and /or electronically.Discusses key aspects of financing such as rates, terms, and repayment amount with members. Cross-sells credit union lending and other credit union products that benefit members. Ensures that member loan requests are processed, promptly. Accepting supporting loan documentation, ensuring accuracy of debt-to-income ratios; collateral loan-to-value; accuracy of loan amounts and repayment terms. Prepares loan documents electronically and disburses loans within lending policy guidelines. Effectively communicates loan decisions on pending applications. When a loan is denied, explain reasons and work with member to provide recommendations or alternative options for other ways to secure a loan now or possibility in the future.Approves or denies loans within lending policy guidelines.Effectively identify and mitigate member lending problems, inquiries, disputes, and complaints as they arise.Performs other duties as assigned.
