Job description

BecTech is looking for a highly experienced Senior Engineer to support the MDA's Engineering Design group and will support Engineering Technical Reviews, Failure Review Boards, Engineering Integration, and Mission Assurance Provisions Requirements Applicability Matrices (MAP RAMs). This position is located in Huntsville, AL.


Job Description:

  • Enable MDA Programs in preparation of Mission Assurance Provisions Requirements Applicability Matrices (MAP RAMs) and in setting thresholds for each requirement in the MAP
  • Support the preparation and review of Technical Review Plans for the conduct of Engineering Technical Reviews (SRR, PDRs, CDRs and Agile Reviews)
  • Provide support during the planning and conduct of Engineering Technical Reviews
  • Support System- and Element- Level failure reviews

Required Skills:

  • Master's degree in a STEM field with at least 12 years of experience
  • Active secret clearance
  • Strong understanding of engineering design principles
  • Experience in the flow-down of System-level requirements which influence Element-level designs.
  • Experience conducting and managing failure reviews
  • Exceptional communications and organization skills

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of agile engineering design processes
  • Knowledge of digital engineering principals
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Missile Defense System (elements, products, increments and capabilities)
  • Knowledge of the MDA Mission Assurance Provisions
