ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance with Poly REQUIRED Position Overview: Red Arch Solutions is hiring a Principal Backend Software Engineer to join a priority program in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer with experience building and testing software components in an Agile environment, producing clear technical documentation, and ensuring high-quality code. The ideal candidate is proficient in Java, C++, or Python, works comfortably with Git, SQL, Postgres, AWS, and collaborates effectively using Jira and Confluence. Hybrid TELEWORK position, up to 16 hours per week dependent on tasking. Requirements: * * Active TS/SCI with Polygraph * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus Twenty (20) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes. Note: Twenty four (24) years total of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for candidates without a qualifying bachelor's degree.
An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation Experience working in an Agile software development environment Experience using Jira and Confluence Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software Experience with the following software development skills: Git Java, C++, Python Relational database, such as Postgres SQL Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
