Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Polygraph to be considered. Summary: • Develop robust backend applications within an AWS DevSecOps cloud environment. • Build, test, and deploy containerized solutions using Docker in Linux systems. • Utilize modern scripting and object-oriented languages including Python, C++, JavaScript, Perl, and Ruby. • Provide technical leadership across the full lifecycle of software development. Qualifications & Compensation: • Two (2) years demonstrated experience leading teams on small to mid-size software development activities. • Eight (8) years demonstrated experience in application design and development, to include experience with back-end database architectures, relational or cloud-based, and full lifecycle software development. A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years’ experience, or a Master of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for six (6) years’ experience. • Cloud experience with AWS services is required. • Four (4) years demonstrated experience in software development in Python is required. • Object-oriented and scripted languages (e.g., Java Script, C++, Perl, Python, Ruby) is required • Experience with Docker and containerization is required. • Total Compensation: $235k+ yearly Job Description: • Engineer and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python. • Build and deploy containerized applications with Docker in Linux environments. • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices within AWS. • Manage source code and collaborative workflows using Git. • Guide full lifecycle software development and provide technical team leadership.
