The Department of Special Operations (CSO) is housed within CRFVP. It comprises a group of highly experienced financial restructuring specialists involved in IFC's distressed investment portfolio. CSO's workout officers negotiate and implement financial restructurings of distressed investments, and a host of other solutions to preserve value, protect IFC's interest and maintain to the extent possible, IFC development impact. CSO undertakes its workouts either independently or jointly with portfolio management units.

CSO is seeking to recruit an Operations Analyst to support the overall CSO operations including portfolio, budget and knowledge management (KM) initiatives of the department. The Operations Analyst will work closely with the CSO Director, front-office and back-office teams on strategy, procedures, governance and portfolio monitoring, as well as KM initiatives. The candidate is expected to thoroughly understand the dynamics of CSO's business processes and procedures and to be able to actively communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders inside and outside of the department.

Duties and Accountabilities
 
Strategy, Governance, and Monitoring
  Support the Director's strategic and operational initiatives. Perform monitoring functions in the department to identify procedural gaps and ensure consistency of business-critical workflows. 
  Analyze and calibrate complex end-to-end operations to maximize efficiency in adherence to the P&P Framework/Governance.
  Collaborate on Portfolio, Analytics and Compliance processes and activities.
  Document and effectively articulate CSO's unique policies and procedures, technical applications and data systems.
  Conduct BIA Desk Review exercises and reflect updates on Fusion. 
  Conduct routine audits and reviews to verify secure user access to data and various CSO applications/platforms.
  Central focal point for coordination and oversight of all CSO business processes (e.g., P&P implementation, CSO Legal document facilitation, Onboarding & Business Continuity), overseeing the implementation and adherence to established protocols & guidelines. 
  Lead the CSO Front Office efficiently and effectively ensure smooth coordination of office activities.

Knowledge Management
  Participate in knowledge capture & dissemination efforts. Actively engage in the KM team's initiatives to share knowledge. Support a variety of products and programs designed to capture and disseminate knowledge in the most efficient and timely manner.
  Conduct knowledge drives, content audits and build content inventories and digital libraries.
  Catalogue, categorize & tag CSO documents for application of AI, large language models, natural language processing, and machine learning. 
  Support the department in promoting and reinforcing CSO's brand as a center of excellence for knowledge sharing & resolution of jeopardy cases.

Intranet & Digital Content Coordination & Publishing
  Oversee CSO's internal and external sites ensuring quality of content, usability and accuracy.
  Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in producing digital content, designing and publishing site pages.
  Integrate various CSO SharePoint site applications and Digital Libraries ensuring information accuracy and relevance.

This position may require frequent adjustments to the work schedule due to various clients' time zones/ locations across the globe.
