The position available is Full-Time and is not eligible for remote work. Being a Certified Medical Assistant is a plus but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Scheduling patient appointments efficiently and handling appointment confirmations.

  • Facilitating effective communication between patients, family members, and medical staff.

Requirements
  • Must have previous work experience in a medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with medical insurance companies and the process of insurance verification.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a patient-centric attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing interactions with patients and staff.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AthenaOne EMR, is highly advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a vascular surgery practice is preferred.
  • Strong ethical stance regarding confidentiality and data protection, aligned with healthcare regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in office management or medical administration is a plus.
