Job Summary:

Areas of focus for you will include

Management:

Direct and control the activities within a defined area of actuarial analysis or responsibility.Provide direct supervision to professional individual contributors including training,developmentand coaching.Establish a high-performing environment, fostering collaboration within the team.Identifyworkforce needs and ensure alignment with corporate manager expectations,valuesand vision.

Pricing/Underwriting:

Actuarial/Experience Studies:

Product Development:

Collaborate with sales, marketing and other functional areas on the financial soundness anddesignof new products.Research,designand implement new products or product enhancements.Analyze new product profitability to achieve corporate/division income and growth goals.

Cross Collaboration:

Communicate and collaborate with various departments across the organization to meet business needs.Using data and analysis, provide strategic guidance in influencing management decision making.

Education/Experience:

  • Experience with GGY AXISpreferred.
  • Groupor IndividualLifepricingexperiencestronglypreferred.
  • Prior experience sufficient to have gained a seasoned actuarial business perspective, particularly including pricing design and strategy.
  • FSA designationrequired. Attaining Fellowship alone is not asufficient criteriontooperateat this level.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in mathematics, actuarial science, business, or a related field preferred.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:

$147,750.00 - $236,000.00
