Job description

Salary: Based Upon Experience Level

James Babcock Inc. Electrical Contractors is a 3rd generation family-owned company providing quality commercial, electrical services to organizations throughout the state of Indiana for more than seven decades.
We're seeking Commercial Electrical Foremen to join our team!
We are looking for professionalism, experience, and leadership to run commercial electrical projects from start to completion.


Job Summary:

Manage, schedule and provide technical guidance to the crews of electrical journeymen and apprentices. Assist the superintendent and/or project manager in coordinating and managing subcontractors and vendors. Order materials and necessary equipment, manage and control material and parts deliveries. Control quality and layout of the onsite projects. Perform other duties as required.


Working Hours:
6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, 40+ hours per week, overtime is available
Pay Scale: Dependent upon experience. Bonus pay also available.

Required Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Must pass background screens & drug test
5+ years of electrical commercial and/or industrial experience
Previous experience working as a foreman
Ability to train and supervise others
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead
Be able to lift up to 150 lbs. with help as required
Drug testing is required


Work Exposure:
High risk of electrical shock
Extreme weather conditions
Excessive precarious conditions
