Job Overview

First Team Staffing is seeking a driven and results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is focused on generating new business, building strong client relationships, and promoting our staffing services throughout the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable with high-volume outreach and in-person client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive Sales & Business Development
  • Conduct high-volume outbound sales calls to organizations not currently partnered with First Team
  • Promote First Team’s brand and staffing solutions to prospective clients
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within your territory
  • Build rapport and expand contact networks within target organizations
  • Schedule meetings with prospective clients to present services and close business
  • Generate qualified job orders aligned with company standards
  • Collaborate with recruiting teams by sharing candidate leads and market insight
  • Perform daily outreach including employment platform advertising calls

Client Presentations

  • Conduct in-person or virtual presentations to prospective clients
  • Assess client needs and past experience with staffing agencies
  • Demonstrate the value of partnering with First Team
  • Close new business and secure job orders

Marketing & Territory Development

  • Perform weekly marketing drop-offs to increase brand awareness
  • Maintain visibility and presence within your assigned territory

Client Relationship Management

  • Conduct regular customer service visits to existing clients
  • Develop partnerships and ensure high levels of satisfaction
  • Position First Team as a trusted business partner, not just a vendor

Performance Expectations

  • 200 proactive sales calls per week
  • 3 new business presentations per week
  • 25 marketing drop-offs per week
  • 2 customer service visits per week

Qualifications

  • Previous B2B sales experience required (staffing industry experience preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet activity goals
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and face-to-face meetings
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
