Job description

Azure Data Engineer
Houston TX - Onsite from day 1
Project Overview: New project- credit card settlement system ( CCSS) to support P66 retail gas stations. CCSS is an app is on prem and we are moving it to Azure cloud. (Data Lake, Data Bricks, Tableau- Full Stack)
  • Tier 1 application. Critical for Sapient, Microsoft. Could lead to 200+ more applications for us to work on.

Top Skill Sets/ Experiences Required:
  • Data Lake, Data Bricks, Tableau
  • Arch level convos
  • Can interface with other partners onsite ( ex. Microsoft)
  • Work with client arch to close on design etc.

*The Manager level will require more experience than the Senior Associate and will be expected to communicate with Architects, Senior Stakeholders and Microsoft Archs. The Senior Associate will be more hands on without client interaction but the team expects the Manager level to be able to do the work when needed. Everyone on the team is very hands on with this project. *
JOB DESCRIPTION
Your Impact:
• You will play a technical role requiring analytics and development knowledge and skills.
• This role will require collaboration within a team of technologists to produce enterprise scale solutions for our clients' needs.
• They will utilize deep understanding of data integration and big data design principles in creating custom solutions or implementing package solutions. You will independently drive design decisions to insure the necessary health of the overall solution.
• The individual can morph their career in a number of paths such as No SQL Expert, Cloud Computing expert, or Big Data architect. Any gaps will be filled in with the required training administered by Publicis Sapient
QUALIFICATIONS
Your Skills & Experience:
• Full stack experience, Azure functions, Datalake, Databricks logic app, tableau
• Experience communicating with Architects, Senior Stakeholders,
• Azure cloud certified preferred or AWS certified
• Scala or Python or Spark, #C/.NET- working knowledge of one of the languages
• Knowledge of NoSQL platforms like HBase, Mongo DB, Cassandra etc.
• Good knowledge of database technology with hands on experience on databases such as Oracle, SQL Server etc
• Participate in overall engagement from strategy, assessment, migration, and implementations.
• Work with customers to deploy, manage, and audit best practices for cloud products.
• The individual can morph their career in a number of paths such as No SQL Expert, Cloud Computing expert, or Big Data architect.
• The ideal candidate will possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain working relationships with clients.
