Job Title: Azure Integration / Middleware Architect

Job Summary
Interon IT is looking for an experienced Azure Integration / Middleware Architect to support enterprise integration initiatives and drive middleware architecture strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps, integration pipelines, API tools, and enterprise application connectivity, along with the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.
This role requires a strong architectural mindset, solid technical depth, and the ability to work closely with business and technology stakeholders across the full software development lifecycle.
Required Experience
- 10–12 years of overall IT experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Strong experience designing and managing middleware integrations using Azure Logic Apps and integration pipelines
- Hands-on technical experience with:
- T-SQL
- Windows Server
- SwaggerHub
- Apigee
- Splunk
- Postman
- Azure DevOps
- Experience working across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, system design, development, deployment, and application enhancements
- Strong understanding of infrastructure platforms including operating systems, databases, application servers, and cloud technologies
- Ability to translate business objectives into strategic technology and architectural solutions
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with GuardianRX, Cperx, Queen City, CMS WordLink, Omnisys, and Genesis is a plus
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus
- Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture experience is a plus
- Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage enterprise middleware and integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps and related Azure services
- Build and support API and system integrations across enterprise platforms
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and define solution architecture
- Create scalable, secure, and efficient integration strategies aligned with business objectives
- Support application deployment, enhancement, and ongoing system optimization
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve integration performance and reliability
- Contribute to architecture planning, technical roadmaps, and best practice adoption
- Work with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational, technical, and business needs
