What You'll Do:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Bank's cybersecurity controls across identity and access management, cloud security, infrastructure security, data protection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Drive security modernization initiatives using technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender, Sentinel, Purview, and Azure security services.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Engineering, and business teams to identify risks, strengthen security architecture, and embed security into technology and business processes.
  • Manage vulnerability assessments, remediation efforts, security monitoring, incident response activities, and ongoing risk reduction initiatives.
  • Support regulatory examinations, audits, vendor security reviews, and compliance efforts within a highly regulated financial services environment.
  • Serve as a trusted security advisor, helping influence technology decisions and advance the Bank's overall cybersecurity strategy.
Requirements:

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong understanding of identity management, cloud platforms, networking, security architecture, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects, solve complex problems, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies, including Entra ID, Defender, Sentinel, Purview, and Azure security services.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management, data protection, incident response, security monitoring, and secure software development practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, GIAC, or Security+ are a plus but not required.
