Job Summary:
LanceSoft, Inc. is a company focused on providing staffing solutions, and they are seeking an API Developer for an onsite role in Portland, Oregon. The role involves designing and implementing scalable APIs, managing API gateways, ensuring security compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for deployment and optimization.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement high-quality, scalable RESTful, GraphQL, or event-driven APIs, ensuring adherence to modern design principles and best practices.
• Manage and configure API gateways and management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management) in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement robust security measures including authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys), authorization, and encryption, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product Managers) to facilitate API deployment pipelines, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows, and automated testing.
• Monitor API performance, availability, and usage using analytics and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Splunk, ELK stack). Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance for scalability and reliability.
