Job description

Join the team as a Distribution Center Trainer at Ross Dress for Less, brought to you by Adecco, and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence through impactful training and staff development. We are seeking a motivated and energetic professional to lead onboarding and ongoing training initiatives at our Buckeye, AZ distribution center, helping both new and seasoned associates excel in their roles. 

About the Role: 
As a Distribution Center Trainer, you will be instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture by delivering engaging training sessions, coaching team members, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Your expertise will ensure that staff are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to a smoothly running distribution operation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct comprehensive training covering operational procedures, safety standards, and company policies. 

  • Coach and mentor associates with a patient, supportive approach to elevate performance. 

  • Track training progress, maintain accurate records, and support ongoing learning initiatives. 

  • Collaborate closely with operational leaders to identify training needs and develop tailored training solutions. 

  • Demonstrate job tasks clearly, creating a motivating and resourceful learning environment.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED required. 

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in training, coaching, or related roles. 

  • Comfort presenting to large groups and engaging diverse audiences. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, supportive coaching style. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic math skills (assessment may be required). 

  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. 

  • Willingness to work mandatory overtime and adapt to a flexible schedule. 

  • Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours, with some schedule adaptability.

Pay Details: $23.32 per hour
