Principal Pre-Sales Architect I with Axway, Inc. (Scottsdale, AZ)
Duties: Prepare and deliver presentations of the company's solutions to all levels in the prospect's organization. Lead discovery workshop sessions to gather customer requirements and critical business challenges. Creates solution vision and evangelize how solution addresses technical and business outcomes. Develop customer facing assessment reports documenting current state and future state recommendations. Manage and coordinate proof of concepts (POC's). Develop POC plans with agreed use cases and execute the same. Deliver technical content for RFP responses, handle technical presentations at trade shows and conferences, and stay current on the latest technology. Contribute to the technical direction of the company while keeping a customer-centric approach. Communicate with sales and product management teams regarding customer initiatives. Map customer requirements to a solution approach. Position allows for partial remote work and reports to company office in Scottsdale, AZ. Travel required domestically 20% of the time.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related. Position requires 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor's related experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Networking protocols and technology (TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, DNS, WAN, LAN, VPN, LDAP, Internet, Intranet, and Extranet); B2B integration patterns (WebService, RestAPIs, and SOAP); Data encryption using PGP/GPG; EDI X12 transactions and data transformation from supply chain, financial or transportation industries; IT Service Management tools (HPSM, ServiceNow, and EasyVista); B2B and MFT solutions (Mulesoft, Tibco, IBM, GXS, or Seeburger); and EAI (Enterprise Application Integration), ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), or SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).
