Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Axiom Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and provide essential support to residents in their daily living activities. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a key role in ensuring the health, comfort, and dignity of our residents, while working alongside a skilled clinical team in a supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing

Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals

Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning

Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output

Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests

Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor

Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations

Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards

Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines

Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification

Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state law

Must be at least 18 years of age

Long term care experience preferred

Current CPR certification required

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with physical mobility needs
